Campground Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to Quabbin Glamping and Camping 

We’re thrilled to welcome you to our farm-based glampground, nestled alongside the Hardwick Winery.  Your visit supports local agriculture, preserves open space, and helps celebrate the rural beauty and traditions of Hardwick, Massachusetts. 

 

To ensure a safe and respectful experience for everyone, please review and follow the guest guidelines below.

Guest Guidelines 

  • Check-in: 3pm 

  • Check-out: 11:00am 

  • Late arrivals: No check-ins after 9:00pm.  If you are arriving late, please park at the Winery until 7:00am.  Your code will only work during your stay from check-in to check-out. 

  • Quiet hours: 10:00pm-7:00am Please respect your fellow Glampers by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.11:00pm-8:00am on weekends and holidays. 

  • Maximum Occupancy: 2 people for overnight stay; 2 guests during the day and have to leave by 10:00pm. These sites are not for children under 18. Glampers are responsible for their guests and any damage they may cause.  Day visitors may not bring a pet. 

  • Speed Limit: 5 mph. 1 car per site; please use overflow at Winery if needed. 

  • Campfires: Allowed only in provided fire pits.  Fires must be attended at all times and completely out by 11:00pm.  Wood is available at each site in bundles; you will be charged after you leave as to how many bundles are used. 

  • Smoking/Vaping: Allowed on your site but prohibited in common areas, ie: bathhouses, toilets, etc. Please extinguish in fire or in sand can provided. 

  • Signs/flags/banners: Political, racial or other nature that may elicit a negative response from others is prohibited. 

  • Trash: Pack in/pack out.  Use marked bins and recycle where available by entrance. 

  • Please don’t tie anything to our trees. 

  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. 

  • Please don’t use other campsites for a shortcut. 

  • Zero tolerance for aggressive and destructive behavior. You will be removed from the property with no refund or return visit. 

Pet Policy

  • Dogs only are welcome here.  2 dogs per site. Rabies proof when making reservation. Friendly dogs only!  Aggressive dogs are not permitted, and you will be asked to leave. 

  • Dogs must be on leash; no dogs left unattended. Excessive barking and disruptive behavior are not permitted, especially during quiet hours. 

  • No dogs allowed in restrooms or showers. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly. 

  • Please don’t leave pet food out overnight, keep locked up in vehicles or in cabin.  We have wildlife! 

Wildlife Awareness & Safety

  • Do not approach or feed wild animals, especially bears and moose.  We have a lot of both bordering the Quabbin Reservoir. 

  • Food and pet food must be stored in your car or cabin; this includes coolers. 

  • No Trash is to be left outside as well.  Dumping grease or pet food will result in a $50 dollar fine. 

  • No fireworks or firearm shooting allowed.
